When you are ready for what you want, and your thoughts and actions are in line with your purpose, your whole being focuses energy into creating that which you are capable of receiving.
I received my Passport after only applying 2 weeks ago. When I made the decision I wanted to travel I had no idea where I was going or how I’d get there. It’s been a dream of mine for a long time and ever since I started climbing I’ve wanted to travel and climb all over the world. I didn’t know how, all I knew was I had to make it happen this year. When you bring mindfulness to your purpose the possibilities are endless. It’s amazing how “opportunities” “luck” and “once in a lifetime” moments begin to happen.
Today, despite the fact that I don’t know what the hell I’m doing, I bought a one way ticket to Greece. I’m so stoked to tell you guys that in a matter of a couple months I’ll be on my way for a Climbing/ Sailing trip with Vertical Sailing Tour. How’s that for manifesting?!!!
I’ve never done this before and I’m not gonna lie I’m pretty terrified. I’m learning as I go and most of the time feel like I have no idea what I’m doing. There is no guide book or instruction manual for life. Sometimes you just got to step out into the unknown and trust that you will figure it out along the way. This will be the biggest thing I’ve ever done and I’m all kinds of emotions right now. My first time out of the country and SOLO. I’m beyond excited, but also if I think about it long enough it feels like a semi is parked on my chest.
The opportunity to join Vertical Sailing Tour came at the perfect time. When they first approached me it felt so far away and unattainable. The more I started thinking about it and talking about it with my friends the more it started to feel like it was a definite sign and gift from the universe that I must go. It’s the perfect situation for my first time out of the country.
I don’t have a whole lot figured out yet, hence why I only bought a one way ticket so far. As of now my plans are to fly to Athens and stay for a couple days there before I fly to Kos and then on to meet the sailing crew and head to Kalymnos where I’ll stay for a week, possibly 2 weeks climbing and living on the boat. After that I’m open to going anywhere. It’s kind of scary and exciting not knowing what I’m doing yet or when I will return, but I have a lot of options. Can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me! Wish me luck!
