One of my favorite places in the Eastern Sierra is Bishop. That gorgeous mountain range, the epic climbing, hotsprings, the lakes, the vibe, there’s so much to do and see there!
There is so much great climbing up near Bishop. These photos are from my trip up there last spring. We make trips up there quite often for climbing and the annual Highball festival Craggin Classic, which happens every fall.
Last spring I spent a week up there camping in the “Pit” which is the climbers camp, and doing some climbing with Backcountry.com.
Here’s some of the photos I took that week and also check out the video I put together at the end! I hope you enjoy!
We did some bouldering at the Buttermilks
I spent the day hanging out with some friends who live up in Mammoth. It was a perfect way to spend an afternoon after bouldering.
Camping in the pit
Bouldering at the Happy boulders is so much fun!
We did a little sport climbing in Pine Creek
And my absolute favorite place to climb there, the Owen’s River Gorge!
Check out this fun video I edited from my week in Bishop!
